One of my colleague is leaving the company, so we had a sumptous yet simple lunch at a famous Malay eating place. Its called Hajah Maimunah and it is not only tasty, its cheap too luckily I agreed to provide the lunch treat
Hajah Maimunah's is one of those Nasi Padang type restaurants, where you order rice per person, then pick the dishes which you will eat to your death.
It definitely isn't fine dining, and Hajah Maimunah herself wasn't there (she probably just supervises the cooking), but I'm quite she wouldn't have disapproved our 'whacking' the food the way we did, even if she's the pious woman her title suggests.
Hajah Maimunah is only a name of the owner's mum.. She is a nice lady..How i know?? She's my boss.. Well i've been working there for a year, part-time..Hajah Maimunah passed away quite sometime ago..
